India Papershade
Think of India and you conjure up so many images of colour, exotic architecture, beautiful saris, constant chatter, music and movement. So, I've tried to pour elements of this vast and ancient culture into my Papershade. There's a mingling of art and images. In the lifestyle photograph I've added one of my favourite possessions - it's and Indian elephant which belonged to my grandfather when he was a child. It has the date of 1875 upon it. This little toy used to be able to 'walk' down a slope but he's just too elderly now to get about much.
The India Papershade is 24cm in height, 28cm in diameter at the base and 22cm in diameter at the top. The supporting wheels has a diameter of 3cm which is the standard size for a table lamp or room light. We recommend you use a low heat, 40watt energy saving or LED bulb.
The Papershade arrives as a flatpack in an A4 envelope and you assemble it. There's a 'how to' film on the website if you get stuck. The price includes postage and packaging.
