The Plymouth Papershade
I've already created a Cornwall Papershade but thought I'd make one specifically for Plymouth. Famous for the Hoe - where Sir Francis Drake finished playing his game of bowls before getting ready to see off the Spanish Armada. Drake is a great hero of mine. As a child I created a model of The Golden Hind, the ship in which he sailed around the world. But Plymouth is a huge and bustling port, a naval base and a wonderful city ranged around a huge estuary of the River Tamar. I've added in the statue of Drake, Smeaton's Tower lighthouse, a beacon, the Tinside Lido, West Hoe Pier and the distant hills of Dartmoor.
The Plymouth Papershade is 24cm in height, 28cm in diameter at the base and 22cm in diameter at the top. The supporting wheels has a diameter of 3cm which is the standard size for a table lamp or room light. We recommend you use a low heat, 40watt energy saving or LED bulb.
The Papershade arrives as a flatpack in an A4 envelope and you assemble it. There's a 'how to' film on the website if you get stuck. The price includes postage and packaging.
