These LARGE Papershades are quite a departure for me. Each panel is hand-painted with vibrant inks or acrylic paint. The image is bold, cheerful, colourful and the large scale of the lampshade is guaranteed to make a statement in any room. They're more expensive than the smaller ones because of the size and also the fact that each panel on each lampshade is absolutely unique. You have five works of art arranged as a paper lampshade!
The LARGE Papershades are great for central room lights or standard lamps. They're more fun than many conventional standard lamps. But best of all, you can ask me to create a bespoke design. Yes, the pictures are of birds but, really, I can interpret any ideas you might have and can come up with a unique design which will suit your interior.
These LARGE Papershades are made from A3 size Papershades paper - a fabulous cartridge paper which is strong, translucent and will take the paint perfectly. They are 42cm in height, 40cm in diameter and the hole in the centre of the 'wheel' which grips all the panels is 3cm in diameter. This is an average fitting. Larger holes are available if your standard lamp has a different diameter. (Just let me know).
We recommend you use a 40watt LED bulb.
