The Charles Dickens Papershade
Charles Dickens is the novelist we all turn to or refer to when thinking of eccentric characters, mysteries and witty descriptions. He must have been a man of phenomenal energy who never bothered with 'down time'. His novels were required reading at school but, as an adult, I've so enjoyed plunging into his world of Victorian monsters, simpering women, gallant young heroes and needy orphan children. His name is a description too - Dickensian! There wasn't space on this Papershade to do more than an impression of his portrait in paper (based on black and white photos) and I simply used a jumble of illustrations from his books to create the 'noise' of his fabulous literary creations.

The lampshade is designed to fit standard lamp fittings for table or pendant lamps.
We recommend customers use 40 Watt energy saving or LED bulbs.
Papershades are 11" or 28cm in diameter at the widest and 10" or 25cm in height.
The Papershade arrives as a flatpack in an A4 envelope and you assemble it. There's a 'how to' film on the website if you get stuck. The price includes postage and packaging.
