The Shakespeare Papershade
How to celebrate England's greatest writer? Well, it's a hard ask but I've had a go. There's much debate as to whether the portraits we have of Shakespeare really are of Shakespeare. So, I've interpreted the images we have but in my own paper style, keeping the limited hair on top, the abundance at the sides, the bright, quizzical eyes and the impressive collar or ruff. But I've surrounded my Shakespeare with impressions of Stratford upon Avon, where it all began. The Elizabeth houses are at the base and an impression of the 20th century Royal Shakespeare Theatre is above.
