Wine Bottles Papershade
Wine bottles are like domestic sculpture. They come in so many shapes, sizes, colours and textures. How many of us hang onto bottles from a special occasion or just because they look great in the sunlight? Mostly we are interested in the contents but the look and feel of them are just as much fun and, of course, the labels tell you so much.
There are no literal labels on these bottles just an impression of the writing and decoration you find on them. My design is something of a homage to a British painter, Patrick Caulfield, who created a very colourful painting called Pottery in 1969 showing a jumble of fabulous pots.
