The Wirral Papershade
The Wirral is wonderful. It's like a separate county, a distinct place which isn't really Cheshire or Merseyside and it is occupied by people who love being a bit different. I used to visit areas of The Wirral when I lived near Manchester as a child. I remember tramping through paths in a park with giant hogweeds which rose above us like a jungle.
For this Papershade I've created an impression of the topography - the distinctive peninsular flanked by Liverpool and north Wales. I've included a few important landmarks too such as the impressive Town Hall in Wallasey, Lady Lever's Art Gallery in Port Sunlight, Perch Rock Lighthouse, Birkenhead Priory and elegant bridge in Birkenhead Park. Plus a few ships chugging their way towards Liverpool.
The Wirral Papershade is 24cm in height, 28cm in diameter at the base and 22cm in diameter at the top. The supporting wheels has a diameter of 3cm which is the standard size for a table lamp or room light. We recommend you use a low heat, 40watt energy saving or LED bulb.
The Papershade arrives as a flatpack in an A4 envelope and you assemble it. There's a 'how to' film on the website if you get stuck. The price includes postage and packaging.
