The Anglesey Papershade
There's something about an island and Anglesey not only feels separate from the country of Wales but like a small but perfectly formed country which has its own identity. Of course the famous bridge over the Menai straits means it's relatively easy to reach but that only adds to the romance and drama. Once you are in Anglesey you are in a place of castles, lighthouses, ruins of the region's industrial past and the relentless impact of sea upon rock.
With this lampshade design I've aimed to capture the romance and 'otherness' of Anglesey.
The Anglesey Papershade is 24cm in height, 28cm in diameter at the base and 22cm in diameter at the top. The supporting wheels has a diameter of 3cm which is the standard size for a table lamp or room light. We recommend you use a low heat, 40watt energy saving or LED bulb.
The Papershade arrives as a flatpack in an A4 envelope and you assemble it. There's a 'how to' film on the website if you get stuck. The price includes postage and packaging.
